Milestone progression in Planet Zoo 2

Planet Zoo 2 milestone progression is gated by the player's actual gameplay. The Habitat Building milestones count barrier loops, habitat count, Aquarium tanks, aviary roofs, and the optional Prospering state per species. The Wildlife Reserves milestones count conservation projects, species releases, and reserve accreditation. The Conservation milestones count conservation project completions, research projects, and breeding programme milestones. The Career Scenarios milestones count the FEN (Fauna and Ecosystems Network) scenarios the player has completed. The Animal Collection milestones count species collection, breeding lineage, and Franchise Animal Marketplace milestones. The Research milestone counts research projects per species and unlocks the optional Prospering state per species. The fastest unlock path is to play through Career mode while raising the 5-Star bar and completing the conservation record in parallel.
